In summer, electric vehicles are very easy to burst tires. How to avoid it?

The fear of sudden situation in the process of electric vehicle riding is tire burst, and the tire burst of electric vehicle is more sudden and hidden than that of automobile. Aging, excessive wear, tire trauma, excessive sun exposure and unstable tire pressure of electric vehicle tires may cause sudden tire burst of electric vehicle. In addition, the following four situations should be paid attention to when traveling in summer:

1. In summer, the road temperature is very high, and the asphalt on the road is baked soft. Many hard and small things are embedded in the road, and the tires of electric vehicles are easy to be punctured.

2. There have been repaired tires. When driving on high-temperature roads in summer, due to the increase of tire bulge, its performance and safety are greatly reduced, which is prone to tire burst.

3. When the road temperature exceeds 45 ℃, if the tire of electric vehicle is inflated too much, coupled with the continuous heating of the tire during driving, but the heat dissipation is relatively slow, the air pressure increases, resulting in too thin tire body, which is also the main reason for tire burst.

4. When the weather is hot in summer, the tire is easy to deform and the tire performance index decreases. If the tire pressure is not standard and the performance is weakened, the tire burst is easy to occur.

How to avoid tire burst?

1. Develop the good habit of regular inspection and maintenance. Regularly check whether the tire pressure is normal. If the pressure is too low, there may be local scratches and stabs on the outer carcass, which should be detected and repaired in time; If it is found that the air pressure is too high, it should be properly relieved, especially in hot weather.

2. When cycling, don't rush or brake hard to reduce the violent friction between tires and hot ground. In addition, don't inflate the electric car too much in summer. Park the car in a cool place to avoid prolonged exposure.

3. Electric vehicle tires are not so "invincible". In daily life, try to avoid tire contact with lubricating oil similar to hydrocarbons, because it will accelerate tire aging. In addition, the tire shall not be in contact with alcohol, refrigerant and electrolyte. The tire can be cleaned with soapy water.

Many car owners will carry out annual inspection and maintenance every other period of time. If they find a problem with the tire, they will replace it in time.
